Truffle Affair, a Prosciutto Sandwich made with Truffle Cream
We made our Truffle Affair for hungry people who love a sandwich with depth and elegance. In this creation, we layer Leoncini Prosciutto Cotto with truffle cream and baby arugula for a rich, earthy bite. Truffle cream is a luxurious, aromatic sauce made by combining heavy cream, parmesan cheese, and butter with truffle oil, paste, and chopped truffles. Leoncini Prosciutto Cotto is a premium Italian-imported cooked ham prized for its tender, moist texture, delicate flavor, and its Mediterranean herb-and-spice seasoning. Next, we add artichoke in oil to bring its briny flavour to the mix. This sandwich is made slowly and carefully on our sourdough bread and is designed to feel indulgent, balanced, and unmistakably Italian.
